This project is part of a larger effort where I developed full digital storefront assets for multiple Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters across various platforms, including Epic Games, Nintendo, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. Takeda is just one of many characters I have worked on, each requiring extensive adaptation to fit different storefront layouts and aspect ratios.
For each character, I created 50+ layouts, ensuring they were optimized for different store placements while maintaining brand consistency, high-quality presentation, and visual impact. The master sizes served as the foundation for various layouts, adjusting character placement, logo positioning, and background elements to suit each platform’s requirements.
To streamline the process, I developed a custom Photoshop script that allows the team to quickly swap characters while preserving the necessary design structure. This tool significantly improved workflow efficiency, enabling fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality.
The images showcased are the Master Sizes along with a variety of other layouts that showcase the different placement of the assets. I have not included the full digital storefront of each as many of the layouts are similar in positioning with slight changes.
